Referees and NSOs are imperative to gameplay as they ensure games are played fairly and safely. Both NSO's and Referees must go through a training program, study the handbook & official WFTDA rules, and provide their own transportation.  We encourage all skaters to cross-train as Referees, because the more you know about the game, the easier it is to play.
